Microsoft‘s long awaited smartwatch is rumored to be just a couple weeks away from its official unveiling. The fitness centric wearable was suggested to hit the market in October, but a confirmed date is yet to be released. Features of the smartwatch include a heart rate tracker, battery life of 48 hours, wireless charging and notification support. Furthermore, the Microsoft device will offer cross-platform support unlike the Android Wear and Apple Watch, which only work with Android and iOS respectively. Microsoft is said to have borrowed a lot from its work on Kinect for the wearables sensor suite, so expect some similar features. Stay tuned for more updates on Microsoft’s smartwatch. link
